Isabella’s work centers on the exploration of inner psychological reality and the phenomenon of consciousness. Through her paintings, she documents the shifting experiences of her mind in various altered states. Drawing inspiration from methods such as the paranoiac-critical approach, she broadens this framework to encompass all forms of imagery that arise within the mind’s eye. Her experience of hyperphantasia—the ability to visualize with extraordinary vividness—serves as the foundation of her practice, providing primary reference material for her compositions.
