GRAPHIC DESIGNER

As a graphic designer, my projects embrace multiple types of media from traditional to

digital formats. My artistic journey began at a young age where drawings became a

steppingstone for visual learning. The start of my works began as drawings and paintings of

people, animals, and places including watercolor and continues to shift to different tools using

micron pen drawings for more figurative sketching. I’ve even introduced the ability to create

books and comics of my own to reduce my boredom in elementary school. Throughout the years,

I’ve never ignored practicing my work from a two-dimensional perspective as it became a major

direction throughout my ongoing works in illustration and design in the future.

I didn’t acquire my graphic design knowledge until my first semester of FAU in 2023.

From there on, the expansion of options became limitless for a designer including myself.

Photography became one of the first routes by creating darker atmospheres as shadows

and nighttime imagery became an emotional design influence throughout my work. Eventually, I

would also seek out ceramic work in the same semester as photography by making anatomical

and natural figures using surrealism. Later on, graphic design has led me to perform digital to

physical products and marketing including packaging and book covers to engage into my career.

My initial direction to three-dimensional work has always been accomplished physically by clay

rather than a computer.

For the compositions of the works, my definitive style remains as mixed media due to the

fascination of experimenting with several mediums from drawing, sculpting, and digitizing

illustrations and photographs on Adobe software. My current interests also involve inspiration

on various categories from surrealism, Gothic horror, and classic horror. Not only do I use my

own hobbies and interests as references to share with others, but also incorporate these elements

as an emotional, personal journal and a complete series that others can relate to.
