Jenny Rojas

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

I have been drawing for as long as I can remember—constantly trying to recreate the cartoons

and characters I loved, using pencil as a way to understand and translate what I saw and

imagined. That early curiosity continues to shape my work today. I work across drawing,

painting, and digital design, often combining pencil, brush, and mixed media to create portraits

and visual compositions rooted in personal expression. My work captures emotions, memories,

and quiet moments that feel intimate and direct. Influenced by my appreciation for nature and my

love of life, I use color, texture, and material to reflect both its beauty and its fragility.

My process begins with small, quick sketches where I explore shapes, line weight, and

composition. I tend to simplify rather than add, reducing ideas until they feel balanced and clear.

I test variations repeatedly until a form holds together, then refine it by moving between

traditional and digital tools while preserving the original gesture. My work often extends beyond

paper into applied pieces—such as painted garments and printed materials—where I bring

different elements together into a cohesive visual language. Through each piece, I aim to express

a sense of care and gratitude for the natural world while creating work that feels intentional,

personal, and continuously evolving.
